I am a Ph.D. candidate at the
Department of Physics, Bar-Ilan University.
My advisor is Prof.
Shlomo Havlin.
I graduated Bar-Ilan University in 2005, double majoring
in physics and computer science.
I then obtained a master degree in physics
(2006), also at
Bar-Ilan University.
The focus of my research is complex networks. I study
statistical properties of real-world
networks,
and solve problems in model networks using probability and
percolation theories.
My research is highly interdisciplinary. Among the systems I study are
the Internet,
the energy
landscape of glassy materials, transport
processes and diffusion in networks,
and the large scale organization of cellular protein complexes.
Recently, I also work on problems in bioinformatics and genomics.
A short article
(Hebrew) describing my research appeared (June
2009) in Bar-Ilan's biannual research newspaper.
